Due to this week’s HS football game cancellation, Kiddie Cheer Camp has been postponed to November.

Hinton Families, Staff, and Community,
Please read the attached letter for the current Covid update.
Thank you

Hinton Elementary will be in school October 7th.

Concurrent Enrollment is open for concurrent students Today, Monday, October 5th. I am also attaching updated concurrent forms and re-admit forms. The concurrent forms must be turned in before I can enroll any student. The re-admit forms are for students wishing to attend SWOSU as college freshman. This will eliminate their need to reapply to the university.
If you have any questions please email me at chasidy.catlin@hintonschools.org

Parents and Students,
School is back in session, on campus, Monday, October 5th. All buildings, district wide, have been deep cleaned and are ready for us to resume classes.
We will be in Plan B until further notice. Please discuss the importance of social distancing, mask wearing, hand washing, and sanitizing (sanitizer provided) throughout the day with your child(ren). Attached you will find Plan B detailed out. Note that masks are required with no exceptions unless you’ve discussed why your student would be unable with school administration.
We know that it takes a village and if we all work together, we can get back to Plan A sooner rather than later. Thank you for your continued support!

Dear Hinton Comet Families and Community,
Please see the attached letter for our current Covid update.

Parents - if you receive a letter/card in the mail that is a P-EBT card. It is from the State Department of Education & DHS. The Families First Coronavirus Response Act was established to provide meals for students during the shutdown last spring. I was told that students that are not on SNAP but we’re on free or reduced lunches last school year will receive the card with approx $250 loaded on it.
We have had inquiries and wanted to spread the word that the cards are legit and can be used to purchase food only. The school is not aware of who has or has not received the cards. You can contact the state @405-522-5050 if you have not received your card or if you have questions. Everything was done at the State Department level so we have no other information.

Are you friendly? Do you love kids? Do you love to serve others? If that’s you then we could use your help! We are needing substitute cafeteria workers who will be available on short notice. If interested please contact Christy White 405-542-3257 ext407

The High School Beta Club is at the Multipurpose building ready to give you a box of goodies from Feed the Children Foundation. They will be here from 4-7 this evening.
