The Hinton Community Fall Blood Drive sponsored by Hinton BETA is Wednesday, October 19th from 9am-2pm. The bloodmobile will be set up in front of the high school.
You can schedule an appointment through obi.org or just show up, but appointments are preferred.

Each week we look for the kids who are exhibiting "Words of the Week" and just all around do nice things for people! Things we look for may include holding a door open, sitting by a friend that's by themselves, picking up trash, helping keep our school clean, and especially doing what is asked of them in their classroom! #cometnation

Our 3rd and 4th grade basketball teams competed in the Hinton Tournament over the weekend. The girls finished 2nd in the tournament and the boys finished 3rd! Great job Comets! #cometnation

7th grade Language Arts completed one pagers project for the book 90 miles to Havana.
6th and 7th grade Science created a big fingerprint with their all about fingerprints lab.
7th grade STEM created bouncy balls in a lab.
6th grade Science students participated in a bacteria swab lab.
September was a busy month for the middle school classes. 6th & 7th grade Art classes completed many projects.
6th grade students created Optical Illusion drawings for texture and value, Street Art on cardboard boxes and for Hispanic Heritage Month they created Amante Paintings.
7th grade students created mosaic art projects.
