The Methodist Road bridge has officially reopened. Students riding the Cherokee bus in the morning can expect their pickup time to be around 5 min earlier than usual. Times will not change for those being picked up at the 108 exit.

☄️Hinton Elementary☄️Our Comet Coupon winners for Friday, January 5. Students can earn a comet coupon by remembering the word RULE. R stands for respecting others, U stands for using kind word/actions, L stands for learning by taking risks and E stands for engaging in safe activities. Students earned a Comet Coin to use at the Comet Cart on Friday.
☄️Hinton Elementary☄️We celebrated our students during Friday's (1/5) morning assembly! Maddie Boling joined the 25 AR points club and Grayson Gutierrez joined the 175 AR points club. The Marvin Reader winner was Mrs. Huiatt's class. We also recognized Mrs. Smith and Mrs. Jones as our December Staff of the Month.. Congratulations to these students and teachers!

☄️Hinton Elementary☄️We are at the end of the 9 weeks and our Reading Goal was 5,000 books. We met that goal with a total of 6,107 books. We had are 2nd 9weeks AR Reward Day on Friday, December 15. The students that met their goal got a drink from ASAP general store and a picture taken with Mrs. Derryberry's Red Volkswagen Beetle.
