Reminder for all athletes in the 5-12th grade: physicals are tomorrow at 4:30 in the dome. If you don’t have a physical form, you can come by the hs between 12-3 pm to get one. Cost is $15. The second physical date will be July 30 if you can’t make it tomorrow.

The Hinton Board of Education Regular Meeting for this Monday May 20, 2019 has been Cancelled due to possible severe weather. The meeting has been re-schedule as a Special Board meeting for Wednesday May 22, 2019 at 6:00 p.m. located at the HS Library, 708 N. Broadway.
A reminder that with the threat of severe weather tomorrow, the fire department or police department will make sure the dome is unlocked as a storm shelter. If you go to the dome for shelter, please make your way to one of the four locker rooms located on the east or west side of dome as these are the safest locations.

This Sunday, April 7, Hinton Schools Administration is going to have a school-community meeting in the Cedar Lake Community Center. Jerry D. is going to open the center at 2:30 and the meeting will take place at 3:00. All citizens of Cedar Lake are encouraged to attend to discuss ideas to make Hinton Schools the best it can be!
Due to unforeseen issues, bus 11 is running extremely late this morning. It is going out at this time and will pick up kids that are needing a ride.
Reminder for Juniors and Seniors: Prom tickets must be purchased from Mrs. Taylor by Friday, April 5. Out-of-town permission forms must also be turned in by Friday, April 5. Prom is from 7 to midnight in the Multipurpose on Saturday, April 13.

Junior class parents: There will be a parent meeting on Wednesday, April 3rd @ 6pm in Mrs. Taylor's classroom. This will be the last meeting before we decorate for prom.
Please be aware that the city has closed a portion of W Clark Street for an undetermined amount of time to make repairs. Parents may want to reroute and enter a block north on W Blake Street, go one block west, then turn north to meet back with W Park Street to continue in the car lane. Thank you for your patience.
*Middle School Announcement* A portion of Park Street will be closed for an indefinite amount of time. Please consider the following as you come to the school! Student pick up and drop off is still in the north parking lot. If you are coming to the school during school hours, you may park on Park Street, just west of the entrance, and come through the main doors. The parking spaces on the east side in front of the Middle School will not be available for parking. Thank you!

Denver Dahlenburg wins his consolation semifinals by a pin in the second period. Dahlenburg now advances to the consolation finals to wrestle for 3rd/4th place. Denver Dahlenburg wants to say “THANKS FOR ALL THE SUPPORT FROM EVERYONE. I COULD NOT HAVE DONE IT WITHOUT YOU ALL. I PLAN ON TAKING THIRD PLACE TODAY!”
